About The Position

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and leading a high‑performing sales organization. This role oversees sales operations, builds strong customer relationships, and ensures alignment between sales initiatives and overall business objectives. The VP of Sales provides strategic leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure consistent performance and long‑term success.

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and leading large sales teams.
  • Experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Leads forecasting and pipeline management to ensure accurate visibility into performance.
  • Establishes scalable sales processes and implements tools to improve efficiency.
  • Builds and maintains key customer relationships and participates in high‑value negotiations.
  • Collaborates cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to align strategies.
  • Analyzes market trends and identifies new business opportunities.
  • Leads sales training and development to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Leads sales leadership team including regional managers, account executives, and sales operations staff.
  • Recruits and hires top sales talent to support organizational growth.
  • Oversees daily workflow and performance of the sales department.
  • Provides performance evaluations that are timely, constructive, and aligned with company goals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
