About The Position

The Manager, Sales, North America is the people manager of the Sales Executive team. They will be responsible for leading the product-based team through their generation of new revenue for the Riskonnect GRC Suite through new clients and expansion of existing customers. In addition, they will manage the development of their team through coaching, mentorship and performance evaluations. The role is supported by and works hand-in-hand with our Marketing, Product Management, Client Services, Support, Professional Services, Inside Sales and Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of enterprise software sales.
  • Experience selling to C-level targets and clients.
  • Ability to build a proactive strategy for complex sales cycles with large stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized and the ability to track activities, opportunities and contacts.
  • A proven leader within the organization such as a consistent track record of leading internal initiatives and being known as a go-to internal resource.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in SaaS, RMIS, GRC, IRM, Resilience.
  • 2+ years in a sales management role with proven track record of effective people management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of risk management is a plus.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy responsible for new sales and revenue attainment.
  • Develop, maintain and mentor the Sales Executive team.
  • Leverage and build the relationships with Executive buyers at our target prospective Accounts in areas such as Risk Management, Compliance and Information Technology.
  • Work alongside their Sales Executives to develop a targeted Sales plan of which organizations to target and why, which roles at those orgs. to pursue, how to establish contact, what to pitch and how to manage an Opportunity once identified and qualified.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the sales process and revenue goal attainment and bring a track record of successfully selling technology to solve business problems.
  • Creativity and high intensity are expected.
  • Development and execution of a sales plan with focus on meeting and exceeding individual sales goals
  • Develop and deliver demonstrations of our applications to C-level executives
