About The Position

The Nordic Center Host Volunteer provides positive contact between guests and Solitude Mountain Resort. Hosts work in Nordic Center areas, primarily the Village and Nordic Center, as well as on Nordic and/or snowshoe trails, to greet, inform, and guide guests to services and facilities. Working on snow requires significant physical skills and awareness. Hosts may also be asked to work at Nordic events throughout the season. Certain benefits are available to volunteers who commit to at least 20 days during the winter recreational season.

Requirements

• Commit to volunteering for at least 20 days during the winter recreational season to access certain benefits.
• Have significant physical skills and awareness for working on snow.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a positive point of contact with Solitude Mountain Resort.
• Inform and guide guests to services and facilities in the Village, Nordic Center, and on Nordic and/or snowshoe trails.
• Work at Nordic events throughout the season when asked.
