About The Position

This role involves managing relationships with external partners such as school systems and community organizations to support recruitment, enrollment, and program sustainability for nontraditional undergraduate programs. The coordinator will also lead outreach and marketing initiatives, assist with partnership development and program implementation, monitor data, and serve as an advisor for non-traditional students. Additionally, the position requires documenting and standardizing workflows and collaborating with university stakeholders to ensure program success. Telework may be available after 90 days of service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in education, student support, program development, recruitment, or a related field; or a master's degree and three years of experience in education, student support, program development, recruitment, or a related field
  • Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • A commitment to serving nontraditional students.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in project evaluation and research methods, including both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Familiarity with budget management, financial and enrollment planning.
  • Strong knowledge of educator preparation and support for new teachers.
  • Understanding special education and general education.
  • Knowledge of advising and best practices for student support
  • Teaching or educator professional development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with school systems, community organizations, grant-funded initiatives, and other external partners to support recruitment, enrollment growth, and program sustainability.
  • Coordinate outreach and marketing initiatives to promote program awareness and management.
  • Assist with partnership development, agreement administration, and program implementation.
  • Monitor enrollment and retention data, prepare reports and support compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Serve as an advisor for non-traditional students, manage program coordination and on-the-job internship facilitation, and facilitate communication among university stakeholders.
  • Lead efforts to document and standardize workflows for recruitment, admissions, advising, internships, and student support services.
  • Collaborate with department, faculty, staff, and administrative assistants to support student recruitment, registration, and matriculation and program success.
