About The Position
Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team at Riverside Cardiology Specialists in Newport News, Virginia. This is a combined inpatient and outpatient role with call responsibilities at Riverside Regional Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in educating patients on risk factors and managing cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating new referrals and established patients in the outpatient clinic, performing inpatient consultations, and providing diagnostic services such as echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and stress testing.
Requirements
- Doctoral Degree MD/DO, Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
- Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Virginia
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease
- Current DEA
- Successful completion of residency
- Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM or ABOEM Certification) in Emergency Medicine
- License to practice medicine and surgery in the Commonwealth of Virginia or ability to obtain a Virginia License
- Current DEA or ability to obtain a DEA
