About The Position

Liberty Tire Recycling is a high-growth company and a premier provider of tire recycling services in North America, with approximately 60 sites in the United States and Canada and nearly 4,000 employees. It transforms more than 210 million tires annually into raw materials for sustainable products and is committed to reclaiming, recycling, and reusing tires.

The Non-CDL Yard Driver moves equipment throughout the facility, inspects equipment, and reports defects to dispatch or a supervisor for repair. The role operates equipment in a dirty, wet, and noisy environment and in all weather conditions. This is a night-shift position, scheduled from 3 p.m. to midnight.

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to back trailers into designated areas for loading and unloading.
• Willingness to be trained and certified to operate a forklift.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliability and cooperativeness.
• Willingness to work in hot, cold, wet, and dirty conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks safely during roll-on/roll-off procedures involving loaded and empty containers.
• Transfer trailers from one truck to another and position them appropriately within the yard.
• Complete paperwork for trailer numbers, gross weights, tare weights, net weights, and material type.
• Assist with loading and unloading when needed.
• Back trailers into designated areas for efficient loading and unloading.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to support smooth operations.
• Follow safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain the yard truck in good operating condition.
• Inspect equipment and report defects to dispatch or a supervisor for repair.
