About The Position

NFI is hiring a dedicated yard spotter to move trailers safely and efficiently throughout the yard and help keep freight moving. The role offers local, home-daily work, dedicated no-touch freight, dependable equipment, and a predictable schedule. Drivers are supported by a late-model fleet with advanced technology and safety features. NFI shops maintain an estimated 60% of its trucks and trailers. The position pays $19–$20 per hour, or approximately $800–$1,000 weekly. Benefits begin on day one and include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Provide acceptable references from past employers.
Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
Be physically capable of performing the job duties, including frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting; using hands to touch, handle, and feel; and reaching with hands and arms.
Be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
Be legally able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

Move trailers safely and efficiently throughout the yard.
Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
Follow applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
Safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements.
