About The Position

The Spotter drives, transports, and spots trailers at appropriate loading docks and/or staging areas. The role involves moving trailers between dock doors for loading and unloading, inspecting the truck before and after trips, and assisting with truck loading and unloading.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience using computer applications, including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.
• Perform duties as instructed by management.

Nice To Haves

• May be required to operate power industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Attach the drive unit to trailers and move them to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Inspect the truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating the truck’s condition.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
