About The Position

The Spotter drives, transports, and spots trailers at appropriate loading docks and/or staging areas. The role includes moving trailers between dock doors for loading and unloading, inspecting the truck before and after trips, submitting reports on its condition, and assisting with loading and unloading. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience using MS Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.
• Perform duties as instructed by management.

Responsibilities

• Attach the drive unit to trailers and move them to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Inspect the truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating the truck’s condition.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
