About The Position

This manufacturing client is seeking an Energy Operations Center Manager (NOC Supervisor) to lead a 24x7 Network Operations Center responsible for monitoring, dispatching, and managing distributed energy assets during grid events, peak demand, and weather‑driven conditions. This role combines people leadership, operational execution, and customer‑facing accountability within a highly collaborative, mission‑critical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and schedule a team of energy analysts supporting a 24x7 NOC
  • Monitor and dispatch customer assets during: Grid peak events, Energy market events, Weather‑related incidents
  • Develop and enforce client‑specific SOPs and MOPs
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers and partners during live events
  • Coordinate site availability and deployment schedules
  • Troubleshoot software applications and server issues impacting system uptime
  • Respond to asset alarms, customer inquiries, and operational escalations
  • Generate operational and customer‑facing reports (e.g., meter reporting, load profiles, savings estimates)
  • Track and summarize market rule changes across key ISOs
  • Identify and communicate relevant utility and state energy programs
  • Provide visibility and updates to leadership on system performance and risks
