About The Position

The Nightlife Manager owns The Studio, a sophisticated speakeasy and private dining lounge at Maple & Ash Miami. The role oversees the door, guest experience, programming, team, and financial performance. The Studio features two rooms, The Lounge and The Record Room, and offers DJs, cocktails, caviar, bottle service, and private events. The venue is relaunching with new programming, a late-night menu, and a new entrance.

The manager runs the lounge Thursday through Saturday and builds its presence across Miami on off nights by developing relationships with concierges, residential buildings, hotels, lifestyle brands, tastemakers, and local insiders. The role works alongside Maple & Ash teams to bring dinner guests into The Studio and hosts buyouts, VIP parties, and events for up to 100 guests. The Nightlife Manager also hires, trains, and leads the Studio team, maintains the venue’s atmosphere and service standards, and participates in Maple & Ash management activities, including scheduling and oversight of the Studio P&L.

Requirements

• At least three years managing a high-end lounge or comparable venue in Miami, with staff and P&L responsibility.
• A Miami network that includes concierges, residents, regulars, and people who book tables.
• Knowledge of Miami venues and the people who operate them.
• Experience hiring DJs and promoters and holding them accountable to performance numbers.
• Fluency with SevenRooms and POS systems.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Run The Studio Thursday through Saturday, overseeing the door, floor, tables, and closing.
• Own programming, including booking, promoting, and measuring DJs, live performances, guest shifts, promoters, and brand partners against nightly revenue.
• Build a network of tastemakers, creatives, and local insiders who generate table bookings and visits.
• Develop relationships with concierges, residential buildings, hotels, and Miami lifestyle brands on off nights, alongside the Event Sales Manager.
• Convert dinner guests into Studio guests in coordination with Maple & Ash host and service teams.
• Host buyouts, VIP parties, and events for up to 100 guests with the events team.
• Hire, train, and lead the Studio team, including the door team.
• Maintain standards for music, lighting, pacing, and guest mix.
• Participate in weekly management meetings and scheduling, and manage the Studio P&L.
