About The Position

Sun Tan City is hiring a Salon Director to lead a team in delivering outstanding client service, driving sales, and maintaining smooth salon operations. The Salon Director coaches employees, sets goals, monitors performance, and oversees the salon’s day-to-day standards and client experience. The position pays $18.00 per hour and requires a 40–45-hour workweek, including mid or closing shifts based on business needs. It is an active, on-your-feet role involving some lifting, cleaning, and hands-on client interaction.

Requirements

Proven sales experience.
Leadership or management experience in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication and team-building skills.
Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work 40–45 hours per week, including mid or closing shifts based on business needs.
Ability to perform an active, on-your-feet role that includes some lifting, cleaning, and hands-on client interaction.

Responsibilities

Drive sales and revenue by coaching the team, setting goals, and modeling consultative selling.
Develop team members through ongoing feedback, training, and performance accountability.
Track metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve results.
Oversee salon operations, including cleanliness, safety, client experience, and brand standards.
Manage multiple daily priorities and keep the salon organized and functioning effectively.
Educate clients about tanning and wellness options.
