About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help keep the salon running smoothly, coach the team, and deliver a positive client experience. The role involves supporting the Salon Director with salon operations and helping the team meet sales goals in a friendly, positive environment. Compensation is $16.00 per hour. The position may include up to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and requires reliable transportation. Physical tasks include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and light cleaning.

Requirements

Proven sales experience.
Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effective communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
Energetic, personable, and able to cultivate a positive, harmonious team environment.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform light cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

Motivate and coach team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
Lead by example in sales, customer service, and operational excellence.
Provide ongoing training, performance feedback, and accountability to the team.
Oversee salon operations alongside the Salon Director, including scheduling, inventory, cleanliness, and client experience.
Assist in developing promotions and use sales metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Educate clients on tanning and wellness options.
