About The Position

The Warehouse Sanitation associate helps maintain a clean and safe workplace by performing janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout a warehouse, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Similar duties may be assigned in office areas. The role requires following company health and safety policies, handling cleaning chemicals according to their hazard material sheets, completing assigned safety training, and using a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with required overtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including floor scrubber, floor vacuum, pressure washer, lawn mower, and snow blower.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 85 pounds.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while standing, walking, bending, and squatting throughout the shift.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to applicable hazard material sheets.
• Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate a pallet jack to transport refuse and trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
