Night Quality Assurance Manager

City Wide Facility SolutionsLos Gatos, CA
Onsite

About The Position

City Wide Facility Solutions is the nation's leading management company in the building maintenance industry, providing facility solutions to commercial properties across the South Bay and Santa Cruz areas. We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Quality Assurance Manager to join our team part-time. City Wide manages facility services through a network of Independent Contractors (ICs) — independent businesses that employ their own crews. As Night Quality Assurance Manager, you are City Wide's quality-assurance and contract-compliance representative in the field after hours. You visit client buildings on a nightly route, inspect completed work against each account's scope of work, document what you find, and communicate directly with the IC's owner or authorized representative so any deficiency gets corrected quickly. You are the reason our clients walk into a spotless facility every morning. Two requirements are essential for this role: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish. This is a business necessity — you will communicate with Spanish-speaking Independent Contractor representatives on site and report to English-speaking clients and City Wide management on the same shift. Hands-on commercial janitorial knowledge. You need to know the work, the chemicals, and the equipment well enough to evaluate whether it was performed to specification.

Requirements

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, spoken and written (business necessity, as described above)
  • Hands-on commercial janitorial experience — familiarity with floor care, restroom detail, day-porter work, dilution ratios, autoscrubbers, burnishers, and commercial vacuums, sufficient to assess whether work meets specification
  • Your own reliable transportation, a valid California driver's license, and current auto insurance meeting California minimums (driving between accounts is an essential function of this role)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for reporting and photo documentation
  • Ability to work independently overnight with minimal oversight

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of supervisory or team-lead experience
  • Prior experience in facility services, building maintenance, or a similar inspection/compliance role
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nightly quality-assurance inspections of assigned buildings against each account's written specifications and scope of work
  • Document inspection results, deficiencies, and completed corrections with notes and photos in the company CRM
  • Communicate inspection findings and correction requests to the Independent Contractor's owner or designated representative — the IC is solely responsible for directing, scheduling, training, disciplining, and paying its own employees
  • Verify that contracted deliverables were completed on schedule and to specification, and confirm follow-up on any prior deficiency
  • Report any issue requiring immediate attention to your Facility Solutions Manager the same night
  • Provide feedback to City Wide management on IC performance to inform future work assignments
  • Support new client onboarding, initial cleans, VIP requests, and client concerns
  • Monitor supply levels, consumables, and equipment condition at assigned accounts and report needs
  • Ensure City Wide's own compliance with client site access, safety, and security procedures
  • Represent City Wide professionally on client property at all times

Benefits

  • $30.00 – $33.00 per hour to start
  • $500 per month vehicle/mileage reimbursement
  • Cell phone/data reimbursement
  • Company-provided tablet or reporting device
  • Paid sick leave in accordance with California law
  • Paid training
  • Potential to grow into a full-time position with full benefits. We are expanding in the South Bay and Santa Cruz markets, and this part-time role is a genuine path to a full-time Facility Solutions Manager position for the right person — full-time team members are eligible for our medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and paid time off.
  • A supportive team that balances high expectations with collaboration and a good attitude
  • Reimbursement is intended to cover the necessary business expenses you incur in performing this role. If your actual necessary expenses exceed the monthly allowance, submit them and you will be reimbursed the difference.
