About The Position

The Night Operations Department Supervisor leads overnight back-end operations, ensuring efficient receiving, stocking, freight flow, product assembly, area recovery, and delivery staging. The role ensures that overnight work does not interfere with customers’ ability to shop, that shelves and top stock are replenished, products are stocked and fronted according to planograms, and aisles remain clear and orderly. During the overnight shift, this supervisor is often the only key-carrying manager in the building. The supervisor provides team leadership and coaching, assigns work to meet customer and operational needs, supports associate development, addresses performance and associate-relations concerns, and collaborates with cross-functional partners. The role monitors operational metrics, promotes safe and efficient processes, responds to unexpected staffing or delivery changes, and supports safety, security, and shrink prevention. As Manager-on-Duty, the supervisor provides leadership across the store, supports customer service and staffing, observes and coaches associates, reallocates staff in response to customer traffic, manages responses to call buttons, and ensures aisles are clean and safe. The role hands off observations to the next MOD and routes non-MOD business activities to the appropriate leaders. Other duties may be assigned.
