About The Position

The Night Housekeeper performs various cleaning functions and issues supplies at Rivendell Behavioral Health Hospital. The position cleans patient areas, offices, nursing stations, exam rooms, education areas, and dining areas; maintains utility storage spaces; and conducts building and grounds security checks while performing housekeeping duties. The employee is expected to follow hospital policies and safe work practices, attend safety training, and promptly report problems and accidents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and mop floors and vacuum carpets daily.
• Dust office furniture and equipment daily.
• Clean window sills, empty trash baskets, and arrange furniture daily.
• Scour and polish bathtubs, showers, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment, and replenish soap and towels daily.
• Clean glass panels in doors and walls, and clean vents regularly.
• Maintain the utility storage room by cleaning lockers and equipment, arranging supplies, and sweeping and mopping floors daily.
• Clean assigned patient areas, offices, nursing stations, exam rooms, education areas, and dining areas.
• Conduct security checks of the building and grounds while completing housekeeping duties and immediately report problems to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow safety policies and safe work practices.
• Attend hospital safety training.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures.
• Immediately report all accidents.
