About The Position

Anheuser-Busch is hiring a Night Driver to deliver its beer brands to accounts and cross-docks in the local area and throughout the state. Drivers operate 53-foot commercial tractor-trailers, transporting beer from the Eugene Warehouse, and safely and efficiently load and unload trailers. This role begins as a temporary assignment for the first 90 days, with the potential to convert to a permanent, long-term position after successful completion of the probationary period. Benefits are available once converted to full-time; the posting also states that health benefits are eligible from the first day of hire.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday overnight, with an advertised schedule of 8:00 PM–6:30 AM and start times that may vary. The role may start between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM and may include holidays. Pay is $29.90 per hour base rate plus a $0.32 per hour shift premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Class A CDL license.
• Manual endorsement.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 165 pounds and meet all physical requirements of the job.
• Availability for Monday-through-Thursday night work, potentially including holidays, with start times between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial tractor-trailers 53 feet in length.
• Transport beer from the Eugene Warehouse to cross-docks throughout the state.
• Load and unload all trailers safely and efficiently.
• Complete Department of Transportation checklists accurately.
• Report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner.
• Be willing to train on a forklift, powered pallet jack, and other equipment.
