About The Position

Anheuser-Busch is hiring a Night Driver to transport beer from its Eugene warehouse to cross-docks throughout the state. Drivers operate 53-foot commercial tractor-trailers and safely and efficiently load and unload trailers. The role begins as a temporary assignment for 90 days, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent, full-time, long-term position after successful completion of the probationary period. Benefits are available after conversion to full-time, with certain benefits eligible from the first day of hire, as described in the posting.

The listed base pay is $29.90 per hour, plus a $0.32-per-hour shift premium. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, though the start time may vary; drivers must be willing to start between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM. The schedule may include holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Class A CDL license.
• Manual endorsement.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 165 pounds and fulfill all physical requirements of the job.
• Availability for a Monday-through-Thursday night schedule, potentially including holidays.
• Willingness to work a night shift starting between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial tractor-trailers 53 feet in length.
• Transport beer from the Eugene warehouse to cross-docks throughout the state.
• Load and unload all trailers safely and efficiently.
• Complete Department of Transportation checklists accurately.
• Report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner.
• Be willing to train on and use a forklift, powered pallet jack, and other equipment.
