About The Position

The Night Custodial Supervisor supervises the custodial workforce in an assigned building and helps provide students and the broader community with a safe, secure, clean, attractive, comfortable, and efficient environment for learning and development. The role works independently without daily direct supervision and has a 12-month work calendar. The schedule is 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The position is full time and non-exempt, with a base rate of $23.86.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of prior experience as a custodian.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Skill in using equipment for routine cleaning.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
• Three years of custodial supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily work of custodians.
• Inspect all assigned areas daily to ensure work is performed properly and orderly.
• Lead other custodians in performing their jobs.
• Evaluate the performance of custodial personnel.
• Perform duties without daily direct supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
