The Trainer/Custodial Supervisor is responsible for training employees, supervising custodial operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies, and safety procedures. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to support daily operations, employee development, and customer satisfaction. This position serves as a working supervisor and trainer, ensuring employees are properly trained, supported, and held accountable while maintaining high custodial standards. The Trainer/Custodial Supervisor is expected to lead by example, provide operational support when needed, and promote a safe, professional, and customer-focused work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous custodial experience required.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of custodial equipment operation, maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Ability to train employees on the safe and proper use of custodial equipment and tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory, lead or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Train new and existing employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, safety practices, and company standards.
  • Supervise custodial staff and assign daily work responsibilities.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure cleaning and service standards are met.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Assist with schedule coverage during employee absences and staffing shortages.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize Google workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Drive) for communication, scheduling, reporting and recordkeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with company polices, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
