Full-Time Night Crew Manager Store #32
About The Position
The Night Crew Manager is responsible for overnight store operations and should have full knowledge of product lines and their locations in the store. The role includes receiving, stocking, rotating, cutting, and marking product while supporting Tops’ mission to provide a friendly neighborhood store that saves customers time and money. The manager oversees night crew associates, supports grocery department financial goals, maintains product and shelf conditions, and ensures nightly operations comply with applicable regulations, company policies, safety, and sanitation requirements.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow Federal, State, and Local regulations and company policies for nightly operations, safety, and sanitation.
- Ensure proper receiving, handling, storing, and stocking of product.
- Assist the grocery department in achieving financial goals, including sales and gross profit maximization and minimizing shrink and supply expense.
- Maintain shelf conditions through pricing, cleaning, straightening, rotating, and facing products.
- Follow shelf-management requirements, including suggested plan-o-gram layouts and handling new or discontinued products.
- Select, train, develop, and schedule night crew associates.
- File required night crew department paperwork.
- Keep the backroom clean and orderly by organizing, making bales, and stacking pallets.
- Direct subordinates in implementing plans of action and attaining goals.
