About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Night Auditor to support hotel operations overnight. The role performs daily guest-ledger audits and end-of-day accounting, while also covering front-desk duties and helping maintain hotel security and the lobby. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.; the posting also notes that nights, weekends, and holidays may be required as needed. The company describes itself as a hospitality management organization operating more than 200 locations across 38 states and 3 countries, with properties and restaurants affiliated with brands including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt, as well as independent and boutique properties. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in accounting or as a Night Auditor.
Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

Audit the daily guest ledger.
Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax.
Ensure all charges to guest folios are accurate.
Calculate the sum of revenues across accounts receivable for food, rooms, and other departments.
Perform front-desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
Make cash drops according to proper cash-handling procedures.
Organize the Front Desk area so the morning staff can prepare for their shift.
Monitor the hotel security camera system.
Ensure the lobby is well maintained, properly lit, and has music at an appropriate volume.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
