About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Night Auditor to join its hospitality team. The role supports hotel operations by completing daily and end-of-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate guest folios, and providing front desk services. The Night Auditor also helps prepare the Front Desk for the morning shift, monitors hotel security cameras, and maintains a welcoming lobby environment. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required as needed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in an Accounting or Night Auditor role.
Knowledge of a PMS.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Team-player mindset.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

Audit the daily guest ledger.
Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room taxes.
Ensure all charges to guest folios are accurate.
Calculate the sum of revenues across accounts receivable for food, rooms, and other departments.
Perform front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
Make cash drops according to proper cash-handling procedures.
Organize the Front Desk area so the morning Front Desk staff can prepare for their shift.
Monitor the hotel security camera system.
Ensure the lobby is well-maintained and properly lit, with music at an appropriate volume.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
