About The Position

Quality Inn & Suites Garden of the Gods is seeking a Night Auditor to complete night audit procedures accurately and efficiently. The role includes balancing and reconciling hotel accounts, preparing guest bills, completing front desk duties during the night shift, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Night Auditor also helps maintain hotel safety and security and coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs. Pay starts at $17.50 and is based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to reconcile accounts accurately and handle cash transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Some college education or hospitality training.
• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk functions during the night shift, including checking guests in and out, answering phone calls, and responding to guest inquiries and requests.
• Balance and reconcile hotel cash, credit card, and direct bill accounts.
• Prepare and distribute daily occupancy, revenue, and audit reports.
• Handle guest billing tasks, including posting charges, collecting payments, and verifying bill accuracy.
• Monitor and control access to the hotel, help ensure guest safety and security, and respond to emergencies.
• Provide customer service and resolve guest issues or concerns during the night shift.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest requests and needs.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
