About The Position
Renaissance Baton Rouge is hiring a part-time Night Auditor. The role reconciles hotel cashier transactions, reviews and compiles management reports, and ensures the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions. The Night Auditor communicates concerns and related issues to all levels of management and performs guest service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation, and reservations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute required daily reports, such as the Daily Operating Report, discount program reports, and tax reports, according to hotel standards.
- Prepare and distribute month-end reports.
- Audit and reconcile Front Desk and Food & Beverage cashier work.
- Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit credit card transactions on time.
- Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines.
- Ensure the accuracy of reported numbers and statistics.
- Input and update financial information in the corporate communications network.
- Perform required daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions.
- Keep management informed of unusual operational or financial events and deviations from policies or procedures.
- Communicate concerns and related issues to all levels of management.
- Perform guest service agent duties as needed, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation, and reservations.
