About The Position

The Night Auditor safeguards financial integrity during overnight hours by ensuring accurate accounting, meticulous record-keeping, and a seamless transition between business days. The role conducts end-of-day financial audits, supports overnight guest arrivals and departures, prepares reports for management, and helps maintain guest comfort and property safety.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-of-day financial audits, including reconciling accounts, verifying transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
• Facilitate overnight check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in room charges, payments, and guest information.
• Generate and distribute daily reports summarizing financial transactions, room occupancy, and other relevant information for management review.
• Assist guests overnight by addressing inquiries, handling reservations, and supporting late-night arrivals or early departures.
• Monitor security and safety systems, address issues or concerns that arise during the night, and report incidents to appropriate personnel.
