About The Position
The Night Auditor supports overnight hotel operations by welcoming guests, handling check-ins and reservations, answering late-night questions, completing the night audit, balancing books, and finalizing transactions. The role also helps maintain property security through regular walks, prepares daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management, and coordinates with other departments to keep service and operations running smoothly. The position is based at Fairfield Inn & Suites Akron Fairlawn, a newly renovated hotel serving business and leisure travelers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in a hotel or related field.
- Fluency with Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
Nice To Haves
- College coursework is beneficial.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests during the overnight shift and handle check-ins, reservations, and late-night questions.
- Complete the night audit, balance books, and finalize transactions.
- Conduct regular security walks to help maintain a safe property.
- Prepare daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management.
