About The Position

The Night Auditor attends to guests’ needs, balances revenue and expense transactions from the day, and performs front desk functions during the audit shift. The role requires strong communication and guest service skills, along with the ability to take appropriate action to meet and exceed guest expectations. The position is at Hampton Inn & Suites Destin in Destin, Florida.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least one year of customer service experience.
Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers so they understand.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for the clientele.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel experience preferred.
Computer experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Handle guest complaints and work to ensure guest satisfaction.
Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
Follow payment, cash-handling, and credit policies and procedures.
Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments and personnel.
Attend to guest needs and perform front desk functions during the audit shift.
Balance revenue and expense transactions from the day.
Perform other duties as assigned.
