About The Position

Shaner Hotels is hiring a Floor Houseperson for the Fairfield Inn & Suites Lebanon, a 90-room hotel in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The role cleans and services assigned public spaces to hotel and franchise standards, maintains cleanliness and quality, and supports guest satisfaction by responding to requests and complaints. The Floor Houseperson also reports maintenance deficiencies, follows housekeeping, safety, and security procedures, protects guest confidentiality, restocks the cart at the end of the shift, and completes scheduled deep or seasonal cleaning and other assigned duties.

Candidates should have at least one year of cleaning experience. Previous hotel experience is preferred. The ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and coworkers is required; knowledge of proper chemical handling is also required. English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus. The position requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned hotel public areas to the hotel's established cleanliness standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints, and help ensure guest satisfaction.
• Report maintenance deficiencies.
• Maintain quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Follow house rules, safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of guest rooms.
• Return and restock the cart at the end of the shift.
• Complete scheduled deep-cleaning and seasonal-cleaning duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
