About The Position

The Floor Houseperson cleans and services assigned hotel public spaces in accordance with franchise and hotel standards. The role maintains quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments, responds to guest requests and complaints, and reports maintenance deficiencies. The Floor Houseperson must follow housekeeping, safety, and security procedures, protect guest-room confidentiality and security, and return and restock the cart at the end of each shift. Additional deep-cleaning and seasonal-cleaning tasks may be scheduled, along with other assigned duties. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Requirements

• At least one year of cleaning experience.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers so they can understand.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
