About The Position

The Floor Houseperson cleans and services assigned hotel public spaces to meet the hotel's and franchise's cleanliness and quality standards. The role includes responding to guest requests, handling complaints to ensure guest satisfaction, and reporting maintenance deficiencies. The employee follows housekeeping, safety, and security procedures, maintains guest confidentiality and security, restocks the cart at the end of each shift, and performs scheduled deep or seasonal cleaning and other assigned duties. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Requirements

• At least one year of cleaning experience.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and coworkers in a way they understand.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
