About The Position

This part-time, 1099 position reviews newly built homes from a customer’s perspective to evaluate the quality of finished construction and identify defects in workmanship, quality, completeness, consistency, and professionalism. Reviews take an average of 1 to 1.5 hours. The reviewer drives to construction sites and conducts reviews on scheduled days, starting anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Reports are submitted electronically on site after each review and no later than 5:00 p.m. Review results are entered online using the reviewer’s own tablet. Training is provided on entering Quality Review Reports into the report database. Reviewers are not required to walk on roofs or in attics, and no tools, lights, or ladders are used. Reviewers must be available four to five days, Monday through Friday, for partial and sometimes full days. Days off must be provided to the scheduler at least a week in advance, except in emergencies. The reviewer must be able to drive to sites around the area; drive time is not compensated. Management will group work orders when possible to minimize driving between stops. Compensation is per completed review: $75–$90 per new review. During the 30–60-day introductory period, pay is $65–$75 per review. A $10-per-house raise applies after the introductory period ends.
