This part-time, 1099 position involves reviewing newly built homes from a customer's perspective to assess workmanship, quality, completeness, consistency, and professionalism. Reviews take an average of 1 to 1.5 hours. Reviewers drive to construction sites and complete reviews on their scheduled day, beginning anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Reports are submitted electronically on site after the review and no later than 5:00 p.m. Review results are entered online using the reviewer's own tablet; training on the Quality Review Report database is provided. Reviewers are not required to walk on roofs or in attics. No tools, lights, or ladders are used. Reviewers must be available four to five days Monday through Friday for partial and sometimes full days. Days off must be given to the scheduler at least a week in advance, except in emergencies. Drive time is not compensated; management will group work orders when possible to reduce travel between stops. Compensation is per completed review: $75–$90 per new review. During the 30–60-day introductory period, pay is $65–$75 per review, with a $10-per-house increase when the introductory period ends.
