Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring new graduate Physical Therapists for outpatient clinics across Long Island, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The role offers individualized mentorship, hands-on learning, and resources to support the transition from student to practicing clinician. Therapists work in a supportive outpatient environment alongside skilled therapists in state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team. The therapist evaluates patients’ physical therapy needs, develops appropriate treatment plans, and provides care consistent with physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards. The role also includes instructing family members, physical therapist assistants, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques. New graduate support includes mentorship for clinicians with under three years of experience, leadership development programs, and one-to-one in-house NPTE tutoring. Through a partnership with Touro University, employees may pursue an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist residency while working full-time; the program takes 12–18 months and Metro covers its cost.
