Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking new graduate physical therapists for outpatient clinics throughout Long Island, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. New graduates receive individualized mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and resources to support their transition from student to practicing clinician. They work alongside skilled therapists in a supportive outpatient environment with state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team. The role involves evaluating patients’ physical therapy needs, developing appropriate treatment plans, providing care according to physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards, and instructing family members, PTAs, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques. Metro offers mentorship for clinicians with under three years of experience, leadership development programs, and in-house one-to-one NPTE tutoring. Through a partnership with Touro University, employees may pursue an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist residency while working full-time; Metro covers the program’s cost.
