About The Position

The New Grad RN Program cohort starts October 19th, 2026, at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. This program offers full-time employment with 12-hour shifts in an assigned department and shift. The program includes an 8-12 week structured orientation with ongoing support through the first year. It features an evidence-based curriculum, development of professional relationships, and growth in clinical reasoning skills through various learning activities in a supportive environment. Opportunities are available in select departments at Oro Valley Hospital, Houghton Hospital, and Northwest Medical Center (Main Campus). Northwest Medical Center is a 287-bed hospital with multiple facilities, dedicated to safe, quality patient care and a culture of teamwork, respect, and appreciation for all staff.

Requirements

  • RN License prior to start date.
  • Current Arizona RN license or compact state license.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS (Must be valid for 90 days upon hire).
  • New grad RNs have 180 days to obtain ACLS or other required certifications for the department.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Associates or Diploma in nursing program.

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop professional relationships through cohort experience and collaboration with peers, preceptors, and educators.
  • Grow clinical reasoning skills through preceptorship, simulation, case studies, role-playing, group discussions, self-reflection, and active learning activities.
  • Provide safe, quality patient care.
