About The Position

This Nurse Residency Program is an exciting opportunity for new graduate nurses to take the first step in their professional nursing careers. The program is a 12-month transition-to-practice initiative designed to provide a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum to support new nurses in developing a competent level of practice. Supported by the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ curriculum and Memorial Hermann Clinical Development programs, the program utilizes a cohort-focused model for growth and development in a supportive setting. It aims to help new nurses develop in three critical areas: leadership, quality outcomes, and professional role, enabling them to transition from advanced beginners into exceptional nurses.

Requirements

GPA of 3.0 or higher in an accredited nursing program.
Completion of a nursing degree from an accredited program.
Current Texas RN license or temporary permit.
BLS Certification from American Heart Association.
Available for December 2026 graduates.
External applicants require a BSN (exceptions for Northeast, Sugar Land, Southeast & Pearland locations which accept ADN).
