About The Position

The New Business Development Specialist will be skilled in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the dietary and nutritional supplement industry. This role will have a general understanding of nutritional supplements along with the ability to develop relationships that drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (Required).
  • Bilingual in Korean/English with the ability to speak, write, and understand (Required).
  • Ability to attend trade shows, customer visits, and presentations as necessary (Required).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer software applications such as MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • A self-motivated, results-driven and a creative problem solver.
  • Have superior skills in multitasking and completing deadlines on time.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
  • Takes initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of two (2) years in account/project management experience (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of dietary/nutritional supplement industry in a manufacturing environment (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Cosmax NBT USA’s innovative product categories in North America and Asia to achieve annual revenue and market expansion goals as directed.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships (including key accounts, distributors, and niche channels), and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Analyze market demands and competitive landscape for relevant product categories in North America and Asia to provide targeted sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales operations team to optimize partner networks and improve channel coverage.
  • Setup local demos, workshops, and explore innovative sales models such as distribution partnerships.
  • Provide customer feedback to the Sales Account Manager regarding technical and after-sales needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, focusing on both the main contact as well as other related staff.
  • Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to present new product ideas with existing customers.
  • Communicate regularly with all departments to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Manage service delivery to specified scope of work.
  • Coordinate marketing materials with marketing and design team for social media posts, email blasts, press releases, etc.
  • Present product concepts, technical capabilities, and company offerings to customers through client meetings, webinars, trade shows, and industry events, effectively translating complex information into clear, compelling business value.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to confidently engage customers in both small-group and large-format settings (e.g., webinars, trade shows, industry events)
