They are looking for a New Business Development Specialist to be on the front lines of growth, connecting with business leaders and introducing them to smarter, more effective benefits solutions. This role involves identifying high-potential prospects and booking meetings for licensed advisors, playing a critical role in helping organizations better support their people. While ideally suited for candidates in the Etobicoke or GTA Area, remote arrangements may be considered for strong candidates outside the GTA. Requirements

  • Experience in sales, cold calling, or business development
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, confident presence
  • A goal-oriented mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with technology and a desire to grow within a supportive, team-based culture
  • Accountable: Takes ownership of outcomes without blaming others
  • Effective Communicator: Communicates clearly, positively, and respectfully, building relationships through tact and diplomacy
  • Organized: Invests time in upfront planning to achieve goals and objectives
  • KPI & Metric Deliverables: Demonstrates consistent ability to meet or exceed monthly appointment quality and call volume targets

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect high-potential businesses across Canada
  • Initiate outreach through phone and email to start meaningful conversations
  • Qualify leads and book appointments for licensed sales advisors
  • Track outreach activity, follow-ups, and outcomes in the CRM
  • Collaborate with teammates to share strategies, improve performance, and achieve team goals
