About The Position

The Neurology District Sales Manager - Northeast District is responsible for leading a team of specialty sales representatives in the Northeast district. This role requires a strong track record in pharmaceutical sales management, the ability to recruit and develop a high-performing team, and a deep understanding of the neurology market. The position involves significant travel and requires excellent interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to secure and maintain reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Must reside near major airport within the district.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment.
  • Experience in small company and start-up work environments.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Specialty experience: CNS, neurology, pain management
  • Experience selling in the MS market

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of specialty sales representatives in the Northeast district.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Achieve above-average sales results.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and customers.
  • Manage multiple priorities and adapt to an innovative work environment.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time, including local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Secure and maintain reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements.
  • Make sound decisions and work independently.
  • Effectively sell and present products.
  • Adjust strategies quickly to overcome roadblocks.
