About The Position
Legacy Medical Group Neurology is recruiting an outpatient Neurologist to join their Salmon Creek team in Vancouver, WA. The practice has 5 locations and is associated with 5 acute care hospitals. The clinics are located in Portland or within 20 minutes of downtown. The role does not require covering stroke call as there are neurohospitalists at all five stroke centers. The practice has subspecialty programs in movement disorders, epilepsy, neuro-ophthalmology, vascular neurology, headache, and neuromuscular disease. The new physician will join a team of 12 neurologists and 3 mid-level providers. The Neurologist will provide outpatient consultation and management of patients with neurological disorders. While general neurology practice is required, there are opportunities to develop a subspecialty practice and participate in the clinical trials program supported by the Legacy Research Institute. Legacy will consider other subspecialties for exceptional candidates.
Requirements
- Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical School or the equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency in Neurology.
- Board Certified in Neurology.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state.
- Active member in good standing of Hospital Medical Staff.
- BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Assocation minimally required (ACLS may substitute for BLS).
- No J1 or H-1B visa sponsorships.
