About The Position
The Prisma Health Physician is responsible for the provision of quality medical services to patients of Prisma Health-University Medical Group. This role involves examining and evaluating patients to diagnose and treat neurological disorders and conditions. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting lab analyses and imaging tests, performing procedures such as lumbar punctures, electroencephalograms, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests, developing treatment plans, and communicating with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and care.
Requirements
- MD/DO/foreign degree equivalent in Medicine
- Completion of Neurology Residency (48 months)
- Neurocritical Care Fellowship (24 months)
- Board certification/eligibility in Neurology
- SC license/eligibility
Responsibilities
