About The Position
The Prisma Health Physician is responsible for the provision of quality medical services to patients of Prisma Health-University Medical Group. Examine and evaluate patients to diagnose and treat neurological disorders and conditions; order and interpret lab analyses and imaging tests; perform procedures including lumbar punctures, electroencelphalograms, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests; develop treatment plans; and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and care.
Requirements
- MD/DO/foreign degree equivalent in Medicine
- Completion of Neurology Residency (48 months)
- Neurocritical Care Fellowship (24 months)
- Board certification/eligibility in Neurology
- SC license/eligibility
