About The Position

AnMed Medical Center - Neurology is seeking a Neurologist for a locum opportunity with ongoing coverage. This is a hospital-based practice with 100% inpatient focus. The locum physician will be responsible for managing an average of 20 hospital-based patients per day. The practice utilizes Epic for its EMR system. Required procedures include Lumbar Puncture and Thrombolytic Therapy. Credentialing is estimated to take 2 months.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Active SC license & DEA
• BLS
• 100% CLEAN BACKGROUND
• Self-Query NPDB report required at the time of presentation (pulled within 30 days)

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurology coverage.
• Manage an average of 20 hospital-based patients per day.
• Perform Lumbar Punctures.
• Administer Thrombolytic Therapy.
