A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Neurologist to join its collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (ACVIM or equivalent)
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in neurology
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice To Haves
- Interest in leadership or service development is a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat neurological conditions in companion animal patients
- Perform neurological examinations and advanced diagnostic procedures
- Develop and manage treatment plans for neurological disorders and related conditions
- Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to support patient care
- Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to ensure comprehensive treatment
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
