About The Position
The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a dynamic and board certified / board eligible Neurology Stroke Specialist MD/DO to join our rapidly growing team. MCW/Froedtert Hospital is one of only three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in the state. You will be part of a highly respected group of cerebrovascular specialists who collaborate as part of the Froedtert Acute Stroke Team (FAST), which serves as a large regional referral center for patients with complex stroke.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Board Certification or eligibility in Vascular Neurology
- State medical licensure or eligibility to obtain license in the state of Wisconsin.
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship-trained stroke Neurologists many also boarded neurocritical and/or neurointerventional care
Responsibilities
- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participation in clinical research and community engagement
- Engage with providers in emergency medicine, neuropsychology, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, neuro-imaging, pathology, and ophthalmology
- Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate
