About The Position

Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking an experienced Network Technician to provide Tier III network, Audio-Visual (AV), and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) technical support in Fairfield, Pennsylvania. The position supports network configuration, AV-over-IP systems, cybersecurity compliance, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical communications infrastructure in a secure Department of Defense environment. The role is on-site and requires an active DoD Secret clearance.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Networking, Electronics, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience supporting enterprise networks, AV-over-IP systems, or secure communications infrastructure.
• Experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, Cisco networking, network troubleshooting, cybersecurity controls, and DISA STIGs.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to support mission-critical systems in a secure Government environment.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Applicable candidates may be required to provide proof of residency and other documentation to verify HUBZone eligibility, and employees are expected to maintain applicable residency requirements throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Cisco certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure supporting AV/VTC and AV-over-IP systems.
• Diagnose and resolve Tier III network connectivity, configuration, performance, and system integration issues.
• Support network switches, routers, VLANs, TCP/IP, multicast communications, and secure AV technologies.
• Implement applicable cybersecurity requirements, including DISA STIGs, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment integration, system testing, and operational readiness assessments.
• Maintain technical documentation and coordinate repairs, network changes, and service activities with Government personnel and engineering teams.
