About The Position

The Network Tech I provides primary IT support for device setup and troubleshooting for the school-based telemedicine program. The role also assists with maintaining wired and wireless network communications, configuring and troubleshooting phones, and maintaining internal and external networks using knowledge of Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN systems. The position performs work using established concepts, practices, procedures, instructions, and guidelines, under general supervision, and requires knowledge of Cisco-based network equipment.

The role is full-time and located in Joplin, Missouri. Candidates must be physically located in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma and able to attend new-hire orientation in person on the designated orientation date. Requirements

• Have 2 years of Freeman Health internal IT experience, or 2 years of experience in an external server administration role or equivalent.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Hold a current driver's license.
• Be physically located in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma.
• Be able to attend new-hire orientation in person on the designated orientation date.
• Have knowledge of Cisco-based network equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary IT support for issues, device setup, and troubleshooting for the school-based telemedicine program.
• Assist as directed with maintaining wired and wireless network communications.
• Assist with phone configuration and troubleshooting.
• Use knowledge of Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN systems to help maintain internal and external networks.
