When the mission demands excellence, Itezz Inc. delivers. This position provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Network Security Boundaries. It involves managing Network Security Boundary infrastructure and any processes related to the systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all network devices, firewalls, VPNs, web proxies, load balancers, etc. The role also includes providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution, and supporting the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Support for hardware problems and involvement in their resolution process is also required. The administrator will configure and manage network devices, firewalls, VPNs, web proxies, and load balancers, install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
  • Fifteen (15) years experience as a NSSA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Five (5) years of NSSA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
  • Must meet DoD approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level III
  • Must possess at least three (3) of the following vendor certifications: Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall Engineer (NGFE), Sonicwall Network Security Certification (Administrator (SNSA) or Professional (SNSP)), Cisco Enterprise Certification (CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE)
  • NSSA-3/Operations Lead - Five (5) years experience directing up to 20 engineers
  • United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of Information Technology Network Security Boundaries
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using Network Security Boundaries
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Network Security Boundaries
  • Manage Network Security Boundary infrastructure and any processes related to the systems
  • Provide support to Network Security Boundaries including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all network devices, firewalls, VPNs, web proxies, load balancers, etc.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Basic help desk resolution) and Tier 2 (In-depth technical support) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Provide support for hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process
  • Configure and manage network devices, firewalls, VPNs, web proxies, and load balancers
  • Install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components
  • Implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting network devices, firewalls, VPNs, web proxies, load balancers, etc.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
  • Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Network Security Boundary Architecture
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
